Support

Stablebook keeps the record for your horse: farrier, worming, jabs, dentist, and every ride you take.

Something wrong, or something missing?
Write to hello@stablebook.app. Say which iPhone you have and what you were doing. Every message is read by the person who built it.

Common questions

Where is my data kept?
On your iPhone. Stablebook has no account of its own and runs no server of its own, so your record is never sent to us. Syncing across your Apple devices through your own private iCloud is being added; until it arrives, keep your device backup switched on so a lost phone does not mean a lost record.

How does it work out walk, trot and canter?
From how your phone moves and how fast you are travelling. A trot is a brisk two beat bounce, a canter is a slower rolling three beat, and that rhythm is what separates them. It works indoors where there is no GPS, using movement alone. It is a good estimate rather than a measurement, so it is marked as beta and you can correct any ride yourself.

The care dates do not match my yard's cycle.
Every entry has its own interval that you can change. The defaults are common ones, six weeks for the farrier and three months for worming, but yours may differ.

Reminders are not arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Stablebook in iOS Settings. Reminders go off at nine in the morning: once ahead of time, and again on the day itself.

Can I get my record out?
Yes. Open a horse, choose Export full record, and you get the whole thing as a PDF: details, schedule, care history with costs, and rides.

Will the test start charging me?
No. The TestFlight version is free. No subscription starts automatically and no payment details are asked for. If Stablebook ever reaches the App Store with a paid plan, this page will explain exactly how to manage or cancel it.
